Coughing up yellow discharge !!!

My horse has been treated for a flare up of copd, the cough has really settled settled but sill coughing up
Yellow discharge , he went really shaky and off feed so I am thinking poss viral maybe although temp was fine , any suggestions welcomed x vets started on abs also x

Hopefully the antibis should kick in, in a day or so, of not, get a specimen of the sputum to the lab incase the bugs not sensitive to the antibis. Id also keep an eye on the horses temp as that can be a good indicator of if the meds are working, if it continues to go up or doesnt change, get the vet again
