Could going barefoot have caused more problems?

Ross barker. Hes from orkney but travels all over. I dont know anyone else in your area. But seriously go out and ride on surfaces hes comfortable with and no trimming (I mean months!!). Yes his feet will prob get a bit long then chip and look quite ugly but they will sort themselves out as he needs them. Not as any text book says he needs them! And noone should ever trim your horse to make it sore.

Amazing the advice being given and the amount of 'everyone in real life is treating this horse wrong' without any of you setting eyes on the horse-which is essential in lameness exams....

Well it's lame Susie, so they're doing something wrong aren't they?

All we are doing is suggesting alternatives as to why that might be, since the pro's aren't getting anywhere at the moment

Did you have a point to make that might help the poster? Or did you just want to criticise those of us who are trying
