my friend  was wondering if her 16.2hh Irish Draft would b able to be entered into this class:
OPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND (pure bred) No lead reins. £4.50
No spurs and to be shown in natural state.

No. An Irish Draught (even though it might be registered.on the ID register) is not a M&M. A Connemara is.

M&M are the Native Ponies - Welsh, Dales, Highlands, Connies etc.

Your friend could do Equitation, Workers, Tack and Turnout, Riding Club Horse.... Ring up the secretary and ask. They are always glad to help.

(Fuzzy Furry - that was a bit sharp, and the sort of comment that gets HHO a bad name. The only 'bad' question is the one that doesn't get asked!)

Is this a wind up? Actually when I judged a M&M class once and there was a norwegion Fjord and a Haflinger entered, what a dilemma as both breeds were M&M ponies but the schedule did not specify British M&M!! Get out of that one if poss.
