This is a rescue, based in Bulgaria,(where animals have a poor quality of life) they are desperately trying to raise funds, to transport rescue animlas to Germany for rehoming.........they have a better chance of being rehomed there, are stricter neutering and a better quality of homes, this rescue has a rescue connection in Germany.
The puppy in the feature, has suffered 2 broken legs, they have neutered/vaxed him, and he is ready for transport.

NO MONEY!!!........JUST CLICK, ON THE GOOGLE ADS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE, TO RAISE MONEY FOR THIS RESCUE!!!

There's two things I don't like when they re-home in other countries.

First it's the Out of sight, out of mind-"syndrome", if you want to change the situation for dogs in Bulgaria, I don't think re-homing the dogs outside Bulgaria will make any difference, because why should Bulgarians change when they don't have to deal with the problems it causes themselves.

Second it is partly thanks to organisations re-homing dogs rescued from Spain and similar countries in Sweden, that we are very close to having dog-diseases spreading in the Swedish dog-"population", that we haven't had before. I know European tourists taking their dog with them on their holiday could and already have done that, but there's a different risk when a dog only stays for a week or two and staying for years being a "silent" carrier of something.

Doesn't help either when the ones handling such rescue organisations in Spain/Sweden, that I know of, have turned out to be hm, hrm well it's either been along the lines of You are with us or against us, nobody else knows anything, if you truly love dogs you must give a rescued dog a home otherwise you don't truly love dogs and/or THIS dog is suffering and it must be rescued no matter whether it is in THIS dogs owns best interest or not...
The ones handling the organisations have also not been more educated in the risks, than that several dogs they have guaranteed being risk-free have developed diseases and/or behavioural problems leading to the dogs being euthanized or sent back to their rescue centre in Spain (have they really, if they have what happened to them there?) and the organisation continues to claim they have no such problems.
If you don't count the 'It's only anti-rescue propaganda from people who either hate dogs or idiotic breeders that doesn't care if other dogs are suffering as long as they can sell their puppies'.

I might as well say that before joining HHO Cala, most (actually all I can remember

) foreign or foreign working together with Swedish dog-rescuers I've heard about, have somehow turned out to be more or less of the sort of radical, our way is the only true way, bunny-hugging type of rescuer.

So I haven't clicked on anything yet, but I'll look into it.

When I clicked on the link my security centre blocked it

I am going to try and find another way in but tbh like thistle I am not too sure of the PETA link, as I am wary of anything with PETAs involvement. Have you known this rescue organisation long Cala?

Hi...totally understand, if you don't want to click guys, Im not even sure if I am meant to do this, in regard to google legislation, I don't think, u are meant to ask people to click on ads

can anyone confirm

Anyhow...re the rescue, they have been asking for an awfull lot of support and advice, in the way of education, and have set up a forum to help with that side of things, They have stated, not all dogs leave Bulgaria, and are indeed homed within Bulgaria, they have a close friend/rescue in Germany that can help with the over flow, and they provide back up, so they do not get sent back.

Thanks everyone

Good charity but what a shame they support PETA

Why?

Not sure how it works but have done CALA. I have contact with a lady who brings Galgos (spanish greyhounds) over from Spain for rehoming and they have a hideous time over there, and the same in Greece. Our cruekty and over breeding problems are nothing compared to theirs.
