Well what it is, I need some new show boots, but would rather have some gaiters as easier to ride in and as I do my working hunter its better for me to get leg on for when jumping.
I only do riding club type shows anyway.

But I like brown gaiters, but then would it look right with what I have.
I have a 17.2 grey irish draught, His tack is brown, My jacket is green tweed. yellow show shirt, canary jods and a blue hat And brown gloves. Would brown look ok or Am I best sticking to black gaiters?

Also if anyone could reccomend any that would be great

I think brown would look fine, especially as his tack is brown. One thing I would change though is the colour of your hat! I would have gone for brown in stead on blue, but thats because I like EVERYTHING to match!! I think its known as Obsessive Complusive Disorder.....!!!!

I much prefer chaps/gaiters to long boots, and when I start to do some shows, I want to sell my Mountain Horse long boots and get some short boots/gaiters instead!!

Well my friend assures me that it will, But I wanted to ask peoples opinion, The only people I have seen with brown gaiters have had brown jackets. But I dont want a brown jacket.

Im sure it would look ok, but dont want to buy some and then be like oopsie they dont look right. Mind Im a mismatchy type anyway lol.

Im the same though I Like to look smart so do not want to be looking silly lol.

Well I decided after showing last season in long boots and started working Hunter, I have decided I cannot do my workers in long boots, I just dont feel comfortable. But even just doing flat classes I always feel I cannot ride my horse to his best.

Well I really like my green jacket, so wouldnt have wanted to change that. I might have a scout on some show pictures to see if anyone has any brown gaiters and what kind of combination of jackets/hats they have.

I have a green show Jacket, wear it with my brown leather boots which I lurve! I think it looks good as the brown isn't as harsh as black boots and my tack is all brown.
