My fat ginger one had a swollen sheath on Sunday. When I had a little peek inside there was what looked like dried blood. I have lost a horse to cancer in the sheath and only knew he had it when it started to bleed so have called the vet to check him over. They are coming tomorrow am so if you could send a few vibes his way that it is nothing more than a fly bite I would be hugely grateful.

It went down after I rode him and there has been no sign of any bleeding since so am feeling optomistic (rushes off to touch wood). I will let you know what the outcome is tomorrow.
