Could i now enjoy SJ?-A little report

Prob never going to be my best phase but after my hitting the deck last week was in much need of some confidence.

So dulyfully reduced amount of hard food gg was having and up exercise. And booked in for lesson with instructor... within 20min jumping smoothly....

So decided to pop of to local sj place on friday. Very sweetly TOG turned up to see new lorry

, with me acting very stressy inside ... Did warm up calmly, a bit fast

. Then we popped around the clear round -clear

, 'a bit stop and start like'. Had a good look at people in gallery watching

. After round TOG said chill, and let him go on and keep him in his rythrm(sp)
Did it again and so much better..... Then did first class i know it was small but need comp prastice but he did a real nice smooth clear round and when into JO and i say GO... and therefore we had one down- my fault.
But in fairness to horse he was chilled and enjoyed experince and defo proved to me that he has defo got the scope to jump bigger tracks, and i have to do is chill and let the jump come to me and we will be fine...

So thx TOG (cos it was a freezing nite) and sorry if i was a big kid about colour of clear round rossie

but i've never grown up! and i hope you weren't to shocked by us hunting folk

But promise to do bigger class next time... thx all for reading

Doing Rc Areas next weekend

and then we'll see, but will defo go back up to Hartpury again, really nice place i thought to jump. But defo thinking about The Hand

i'll pop cheque in post and your PMs are full missy....

Hand warm-up is, err, interesting! Hartpury is nicer....

useful bit of info, as my gg defo needs calm warm up... but also very chuffed as now got a plan

basic don't jump.... Warm up as tho we're going in for dressage test. Then pop over one, then another and straight into comp...

gives him no time to think about exploding

I thought you and ponio did a brilliant job, especially after your recent tumble - which is more than I can say for your hip flask making judging by the look on people's faces after drinking it

Are you doing the BL clinic that spotted cat is organising? And me, but I'm sure you won't be in my group because you should be jumping BIGGER!!

That sounds great - I am particularly taken with the hip flask at competitions idea - may well copy you if I can get someone to drive home.......
