i have just taken on a part time job and quit my full time job in the hope that the time i am not working, i can exercise horses and also advertise house sittting for dogs/horse/animals!

does anyone do this or think this is a good idea?

I think its a fab idea. As long as youve got enough money to see you by till you get enough horses to ride.
I thought about doing that ages ago, but couldnt afford it.

well, i should be able to just about survive on my part time wages if i end up with enough work i could quit my job, its been my dream for ages now its finally happening its scary!

My friend runs a dog walking and pet care company. You can get decent money for dog walking, but really need to take a few in one go to make it worth while. I suppose it all depends on how much time and effort you have to put into it.

yes, definitely. i use a horse/house/pet sitter every time i go on holiday, and she is very well paid, but it's worth it for the total peace of mind.

Have you any qualifications in the horsey department? Clients may wish to know your ability & knowledge level before they let you ride their horses. You may also need a criminal record check done by the police so prospective clients know you are conviction free & reputable prior to them leaving you in charge of their house & horse/s.
