My freind has a 13 Connemara/Cob, which they have had for nearly 3 years. At first she took a long to shed a very thick winter coat, but did same the next year, but this year she started to shed way early compared to the other horses and now has grown back the thick coat which to date shows no sign of shedding, even in the hot weather which we are having at the moment, and now they are thinking they might have to clip her as she is sweating so much due to the thick coat. She shows no signs of Laminitis and has not had it in the time they have owned her. does anyone have any ideas please, thank you in advance for your time.
