Hi i was wondering and hoping there will be someone who can answer this one for me if you have your own land and stables do you need planning permission for a mobile home ?
Yes, and even if it is a caravan or similar you need to check - our yard had restrictions on it so no caravan, and in fact no shed or other construction other than the stables allowed. We got around this by buying an old horsebox with living that had failed its plating, so no longer road-worth, and used that! I wouldn't want to live in it full-time, but useful as a kitchen, and also somewhere to put your head down if one of the horses isn't well and you want to stay close.
