Could your cat have gone missing with the hay-man?

Cat turned up in my yard abt 3rd/4th January, very shortly after hay delivery. Doesn't belong to hay-man but wonder if it hitched a lift. I'm in Suffolk but hay-lorry travels all over including Wales and Scotland. Small semi-shorthaired black neutered male. No microchip. Seems comfortable with horses and settled down quickly in hay barn. Initially shy but not feral - now friendly. No-one locally seems to be missing him. Need him to leave before nesting season (red-listed birds in area).

One of my def feral cats is very friendly. I think cats can appear and sometimes disappear if they choose to do so.

Yes! I was told feeding them a little helped their mouse / rat catching. It seems to be working although don't know how they manage because they're very noisy about it!
