Couldn't be bothered to ride this morning!

Pointless post, but am just feeling a bit down and couldn't even be ar$ed to get out of bed and ride this morning! I feel like such a bad mummy now. I did go and see them, give them a brush and feed the old codger but when the alarm went off at 5.15am:eek:, I really couldn't be bothered! So stayed in bed until 6am.:o
Am hoping it's just the miserable weather. Anyone feeling a bit like the winter-blues today??:(
 
I've felt like that all week! Got shoehorned on yesterday (thanks hack buddy!) and it was quite nice but then horse decided to feign lameness and went home before we could even canter :(
 
I was like that yesterday - have spent too many days in a row getting wet and cold, so just did the bear essentials for mine and the liveries, went back in and watched tv all day!! Mind you, it made me realise that I would soon get bored if I didn't have horses to do.....
Don't feel guilty for having the day off, and I am sure the horse didn't mind either!
 
Your horses will live!! Probably find they are currently discussing how they can't be ar$ed to be ridden today and isn't it nice that the humans (my OH tells me my horse calls me the 'monkey') are letting them have a day off...
Enjoy the time in bed, pamper yourselves and you will enjoy it so much more when you do next climb in the saddle.

I've been like that all week too - everything is just sooooooo much effort. I reckon it's because it's been quite humid here, and I don't get on with it..we need a massive storm to clear the air I guess (not that I want one of course). sm x
