Counterfeit Yumove

That's scary, I've bought named products from Amazon before that I've been convinced are fake and they've always been good about returning them.

Luckily I get my Yumove on subscription directly from them so we're okay (and I never have to remember to order it!)

I use YuMove but thankfully have only purchased directly from them.

Hopefully no animals have been harmed by the dodgy stuff on Amazon!

It does surprise me that people would buy anything like that from the likes of Ebay or Amazon.

Why? I've bought many a horse and dog supplement or food from an online store through ebay or Amazon.

A lot of retailers have Ebay/Amazon shops so I'm not sure what the difference is between there and the shops own website? Especially when you have Prime so can get it next day.

I wouldnt personally buy drugs or supplements from anywhere other than an online pharmacy or somewhere well established and trusted.

As for why. Because counterfeit goods riddle those platforms. The whole purpose of this post sort of gives away the reason why I avoid it 😅

But both Amazon and Ebay have reputable online stockists with 'shops' on both platforms. I recently bought a NAF supplement from GS Equestrian as an example through Ebay. Progressive Earth are another one I've bought from their online Ebay store for years.I wouldn't expect their supplements to be any more fraudulent than buying from their own website.

I wouldn't buy a supplement from 'JimTheManFromTheBackOfAVan' (apologies to any Jim's with a van out there) that also sold tights, men's aftershave and a kitchen table at knock down prices but I expect to safe from a reputable company on Amazon/Ebay.

Perhaps I've been nieve all these years though!

I feed yumove digestive supplement and I get it from Amazon but it’s from Yumove not another seller , I’ve got it as a subscription so never run out and it’s a bit cheaper and free delivery as I’ve got prime.

Semi-unrelated but I buy mascara from Amazon and before now I have been unconvinced on whether it's the real stuff, however I make sure to click on the manufacturers store on there..

I buy it from Amazon (not a seller) and have checked the packaging. I have just had a problem with Yumove equine and been refunded, but am now wary if it's even genuine. I ordered a tub and didn't realise it was a third party seller. When it arrived the tub had opened and about a third was all over the inside of the box. I had to go through Amazon and got a refund, but of course I still have the tub. I thought it was good fortune that I had gained, in effect, a free half tub, but now I daren't use it in case it's fake. 🙄.

I didn't realise legit merchants advertise on these platforms.

I don't pay much attention other than looking at the price.

I will pay more attention next time I'm on there
