Country boots for chubby legs

Hey all

Can someone recommend some good country boots for my chubby legs? I can't afford the Grasemere's I want. Looking at spending £150ish

Any thoughts

I love my Tuffa Suffolk boots and they fit my short fat legs unlike most boots.

Fuller Fillies: under £150, I think. Alternatively, Jileon wellies go to 50cm (actually lots more, I have to winch them in!)

Rydale Malham (the zip ones) are pretty wide

I love my Welligogs - I have the ones with adjustable straps at the back and fit my chubby little legs perfectly. They might be too short to ride in but they also do ones without the adjustment and I could get my legs in them, I just preferred the strap ones! I paid £150 at Burghley for them and have lived in them since!

I tried a pair of dublin river boots on and found them really, really roomy but I do have scrawny legs. What size calf do you need?

i think about 17" haven't measured them resently though lol

Dublins are no good then. Tuffa suffolks are lovely and really adjustable, I'm saving up for a pair - £150 so in budget (just).
