Country type boots for skinny legs??

I reallllly want a pair of country boots- Dubarry type (but can't afford their price tag!). I tried on a pair of Toggi Canyon boots this morning but they swamped my legs and looked rediculous

Does anyone know of similar style boots that either come in a narrow fitting or adjust up the whole boot, not just at the top? Maximum budget is £150 so can't afford Ariat Grasmeres!

Save a bit more for the Grasmeres, you can get them for £185 and they are truly worth the money! I have skinny little pins and the lacing is fab

Oh yes we do Slinky - boots are a really big problem!!! I know everyone thinks it's great to be thinner but it does have its own problems -I have skinny calves and most boot swamp me! Ah well, lottery night tonight so I can have some made to measure

?? They aren't for people with skinny legs and certainly aren't for those of us with - how do I put this......- chubbier legs

Shaped riding boots are shaped perfectly for the top bit to bite right into the fattest part of my calf muscle - ouch!
 
A freind was wearing some Dublin River boots - kind of Dubarry like in looks. Her legs are fairly skinny.

My Dad was going to buy me some decent boots for going shooting and beating, but hes given up finding any narrow enough, so I wear my catapillar type boots still. My narrow fitting long leather riding boots require three pairs of socks to make them fit.
