I am looking to purchase some country type boots which I can walk the dog in, do yard duties in and wear for general outside wear. I'd like them to be long, leather, a bit like Dubarry ones, but preferably for under £100!

So any reccomendations please?

thanks!

I've got Rydale's as well. They've gone through a hell of a lot of mud and walking so far and still going strong. very comfortable. A mate has them and after a year they have started leaking though but think thats the same with all those types (unless you want Dubarry's)

I bought some of these last week from Crew Clothing. £74.50 reduced from £149.00. I haven't worn them yet though, so can't tell you how good they are (or not)

A shop near me had Dublin boots on sale before Christmas at £89.99 for size 5 or below and £99.99 for size 6 and larger.

Bought my daughter a pair for Christmas and she is loving them.

Rydale Malhams - they have some exaclty like Dubarrys if you look at there website (not the pictured ones above) I have the Dublin Rivers too. Prefer Dublins to ride in but LOVE the Rydales to bits. Dublins inner is a bit strange when you push your foot in hard - it sort of collapses.

I love those Rydale boots with the zips...don't spose anyone knows if they come up small? I need a 3 but they only go down to a 4 on the website

I got Tuffa Suffolks for Christmas and they are super (alightly over budget though - mine were £140 from tackdirect). They have a sheepskin lining to the foot part so are toasty warm, and the calf straps mean they stay put. I love mine to death.

Malhams come up quite big, I wear two pairs of socks with mine in my normal size. They are great as long as you take care of them a bit - I just use dubbin on the leather bits and spray on the legs, and have waded through streams in them and everything with no problems

thanks everyone, i think Rydale boots look marvelous! the only down side i think i would have is getting the right size as i live in the east and so no shops around here stock them for me to try them on, so i would just have to order them off the internet and cross my fingers!
