..was ignoring all this talk of the weather turning, but seems like it might be happening after all!

Moved horses to winter paddocks today anyway and another load of feed arriving tomorrow.....guess it'll be a shock when it gets here!

The weather forecasters seem to get slightly over excited in my view. It is November so we should expect the temperatures to start declining. No doubt there will be a rush on bread and milk tomorrow.

I had to reclip my boy today, taking more off this time as the last 2 days he's been really quite sweaty under a no fil turnout rug!!
And they both are doing reallt green poos as the grass is still growing a lot

It's still unusually warm so a big drop in temp is just getting back to normal isn't it? We are in mid November - another month and the days will be getting longer again!

Each year we have snow but us British are always shocked by it and never prepared. It ceases me to amaze me

Just be mindful that because it's been so mild, the drop in temperature will have an impact on our horses as well as our toes. My mare had an attack of mild colic yesterday, my vet said she has seen lots over the last few days, brought on by the first proper frosts and a change in the grass.
