County competitor saddle?

Hey all,

I have been having problems finding a good saddle for my Irish Cob - he’s got a very short back.

My saddle fitter brought along an older County Competitor dressage saddle (16.5 spring tree 3 fit). I don’t have any experience with this brand but the saddle - although older and used - seems to be in good condition and it seems to fit my horse! It’s also really comfortable to ride in.

Does anyone have experience with this brand? Is it possible to see how old the saddle is? The seller wants just over 400 for it.

Thanks!

I've had a county saddle at some point it's a saddle, it fitted the horse and was ok to ride in. TBH, if the saddle fits and is comfortable I don't consider brand an issue at all. If it fits, it's in your budget and you like it I don't think brand or age are especially relevant
