County Show's - too close together?

I did a post a while back seeking show venues for inhand showing qualifiers for CHAPS & P(UK) Summer Championships, and it is fair to say, that in my area, there are few far and between and I have a limited choice (unless I drive 100+ miles)! Shows in my area all seem to be qualifiers for BSPA!

I am already entered for Lincolnshire County Show, which is on Wednesday 22nd June 2011. I would like to go to Derby County Show also, but I am concerned it is too close to Lincolnshire. Derby County Show is on the Sunday 26th June 2011, so only a few days apart.

Considering they are both big County Shows, do you think it would be too much for my 3 year old youngster to do both? I'm really undecided. I want to do them both, but I am worried it is a bit much to ask of him?

As it is not going to be an every week thing it will not do him any harm at all.

Same as above really. You may find he'll be a bit naughtier at the second show, but then again he might not be bothered at all, you just never know with a youngster I think its worth a shot

Did driffield show have any suitable classes?

Thank you guys, that puts my mind at ease at least! closing dates for Derbyshire is this Friday, and I have been toying with the idea since my last thread but couldn't decide!

I didn't get an email back from Driffield just yet. Admittedly haven't checked their site since! I will have a look later when I get in and let you know!

The cow pony is off showing today at a local event for an outing. Must dash xxx
