Kitty already rides for the owner Keith so chances are she is riding it (though havent asked her as she is on holiday) and no doubt WFP (who is scaling down a touch) is tiring of trying to to getthe creature sound. If top eventing mother Jane Boggis cant get the animal right though it probably cant be done at all.

Kitty used to ride the stallion i used to look after, he too, I gather suffered with soundness isssues....horse hasnt been seen since

yes she is riding him... although they were unsure about him to start off with. which stallion are you talking about? at the moment she only has two... ottowa diode and lascar d'oc?

It is such a shame, the horse is really something special and such an amazing temperament too.
He has always had problems with his hindlegs.. when he was 2nd at Lexington with Leslie, you wouldn't believe the worry he caused us all. He went on to have some good results that season but there was always something not quite right but at the same time no-one could pinpoint it.
He does have very upright hind legs, thats the best way of describing it, and a very powerful bum! Don't think his physique can cope with the strains of top-level competing..

such a shame for Keith too, he really has the biggest soft spot for that horse. I didn't realise Kitty had taken him on, I hope she gets him out eventing and enjoys him!

Goddington Hannibal?

He failed his grading for having such poor limbs and feet, he then did so well in competition that they graded him on his performances, can't help wondering if he'll pass it on though?
