Coursera - Equine Nutrition.. open today

Im not sure if theres been a thread about it today yet but the Coursera online Equine Nutrition course has opened today. Just incase anyone had forgotten ect!
To anyone who has signed up, positive feedback? Im just about to sit down to the first two sections.

Just watched first video about to move on to the second

I really like it so far, as nutrition is the area i probably lack the most in depth knowledge in bar injuries. (I don't have my own horse i part loan)

First video I knew all of the things she talked about already, but i think video 2 goes into more detail about the actual gastrointestinal tract so will be interesting

Great stuff! Im a bit of a nutrition nerd so im really excited about the course.
Did you take notes? Im not sure what worksheets or quizzes there may be after so im unsure of whether to jot bits and pieces down.

You should have emails to say the course has opened and giving a link to the site. Maybe check your junk folder? If you go on the coursera website you can sign into your account on there. Click go to class and it will take you to the lecture videos

Also i decided to take notes anyway... because im a nerd!

You should have got an email with all the course links. Mine came through about 9pm last night.

The discussion forum is really great too - ideas and thoughts from all round the world. There is an excellent one going on on gastric ulcers - it's almost worth enrolling just for the forum

You can download the lectures onto your computer. They are in MP4 format so if you have a player then you could put them on that.

I did this I'm actually going to continue, because I know I'll remember the stuff I took notes on far better than the stuff I just read on the slide notes
