Started having lessons with a new dressage trainer this past fortnight.
He schooled amazingly well yesterday, and some walk - trot progressive transitions were perfect!
However! (There is always a BUT!)
He has started to cow kicking in his trot - canter transitions (quite large!) and do them again when you apply the leg aid to push him thru it.
My trainer commented on my seat being good, but i think im gonna struggle to push him through it to get it out of him.
He is bending beautifully and everything else is fine (back done not long ago and saddle, teeth done in April). Normally when he gets a back niggle he is consistently badly behaved. Once pushed through it he goes beautifully.
Hes 7 now.
Any ideas?
