Cracked feet

Some of you may notice I have posted a similar post before.

My mare has a cracked hoof which goes all the way to the top.

Will all the mud in her field cause problems are not. At present she has dengie healthy hoof, and an extra scoop of biotin in her feed to help new hoof growth and she has her hoofs regularly hosed down to have keratex put on as well. Any other suggestions welcomed. Thanks

Is she shod?

Is it the result of an injury?

No she isn't shod.

As far as I am aware it is not the result of an injury.
