Crackenthorpe horses?

They are all quite typey and look very alike (with the odd exception). They seem to have had a few with very good competition records but I don't know what percentage that may be against what is bred.

Not necessarily my cup of tea but the stud has stood the test of time so that must say something :D
 
I've competed against a few of them, and have spoken to Susan on many occasion. I know someone who owned one but tragically lost him as a four year old. They always tend to pull off a very nice dressage test, seem very careful in the showjumping and are brave and bold x country. I personally think that you could do a lot worse than a Crackenthorpe horse. I like them, vie never seen or heard of anything bad coming out of there.
 
All the horses i own are Crackenthorpe lines, i wouldn't change. They do every job i want from quiet hacking through to Eventing. I find the temps. excellent very will and for giving if i get it wrong, sweet loving horses all like cuddles.
I have read a bad report on here which i feel the person should look at their training methods rather than blaming breeding.
Easiest way is to look the competition results up on DB, BE or BS.
