My mares hooves have been cracking quite badly, she was only trimmed less than 6 weeks ago, and she normally goes 12 weeks or more.

Putting shoes on isnt a option, has taken a year to get her quiet for trims, have been effoling them everyday but is this enough?

Most horses will suffer this time of year. Will she mind having her feet tubbed? You need a shallow bucket (the best thing to use are those rubber feed skips) and fill with water and get her to stand her feet in for a bout 10 mins (but any length of time is better than nothing)
I love "Hoof Moist" it does exactly what it says on the tin. You could also if you wanted to put her on a Farrier Formula or Formula4feet supplement.

don't panic''''ground's like concrete. Pop some kevin bacon on round coronet band every 3/4 days or so and trim as normal.

They're all like it in this heat.

Try Kevin Bacons Hoof Moist. It's just the hard dry ground...maybe in the summer you might have to go for an 8 week trim?

My lad is done every 6 weeks otherwise they grow to long and start looking really chipped so your lucky you can go for 12 weeks at a time.

my tbs feet used to crack all the time ... we used to use the Naf hoof moist which was very good in the summer months and helped a bit but we started using the cornucrescine hoof ointment around christmas and his feet are soooo much better  fair enough they still crack some times but not half as bad as they used to :)
