Has anyone worn these? Im looking for some light trousers to wear to work.
They claim to be almost instantly drying, cool and have insect repellent properties! They sound perfect!
How do they come up size wise? The fit is "active" fit which id imagine fairly loose? I vary between two sizes and want to order online.

My eldest is doing the three peaks in August, and wears craghoppers. Says they do live up to all the hype, loves them. He has some which zip off to become shorts as well

I live in them. They are hard wearing, comfy and cool but i'm not sure about insect repellent. They aren't instant drying if they get soaked but they dry quickly if splashed. Mind you even from soaked/out of the washing machine they dry way faster than jeans etc. I'd order the smaller size.

Live in my Craghoppers (when I'm not in jods!). They dry quickly, have copious pockets and are endlessly comfy.

Perfect thanks. I tend to get splashed a lot washing horses off so anything quicker than jeans and hopefully cooler will be brilliant. £14.99 on EBay including postage so cheap too.

They are great, some do have insect repellent properties (made for the tropics) but probably more expensive then the ordinary ones. Go Outdoors often have them at reduced prices if you have one of their loyalty type cards.

They will dry quickly and be lightweight. However, I would not recommend rock climbing in them. My OH has discovered the hard way that the seam in a rather critical bit of the trousers does not withstand reaching for that distant foothold. Whoops.

I prefer them too. I have a kiwi style with lining for winter size 14 and although they are quite big on me I love them for walking the dogs and very good when it is very cold.

My second pair has no lining, I use it for work, the ones that can convert to shorts (Bermuda style) and they are size 12, or small and fit me better. Still slightly bigger at the waist (comes with a belt), nice fit everywhere else. But size 10 was a funny shape (on me that is) as they are more a bit hipsters, I think. I am normally a size 12.

The seam for the shorts (zipper) can be bothersome for long walks. But I really only use it for work. They dry quickly, but no UV protection or mosquito repellent.
