Let young man out on Monday and he went bonkers as usual racing about (the older more "sensible" man usually starts this). Watched him till he calmed down and went in to work, came back from work (almost dark) to find young man dripping in sweat, in a state and not where he should have been. Brought him in, lame. Switched light on to get a better look, realised how bad it was with a huge flap of skin hanging off. Vet out who thank fully managed to put him back together. Next morning had a proper look and he's crashed through the fence, completely smashed to bits. He's been lucky.
Then vets been out to check the young man and got him to check over a sudden very footy old man, who has recently grown the most shaggy winter coat ever. One blood test later and cushings
he's 21 so hasn't come as a huge surprise, but gutted.
Then Bolshy mare that oh has acquired (for £1 - not too happy about this) has been playing escape artist has ended up on the lane today, in the fog, refused to be caught... Had a right earful off a driver when asked him to stay where he was while a just caught "hormonal time bomb" was being led back home.
Crap crap crap. It comes in 3s. Very down
