For some reason Medstead Grange decided yeaterday to put 7 classes on, including to Blue Chip qualifiers. It didnt start till 10 am although the 1st one actually enetered the ring at 10:45 and the lights on the warm up outside automatically turn off at 8:30pm!! With 60 people in the classes it was mayhem! Now for a centre that is always busy on a Friday and usually finished mid evening with 4 normal classes, what ever possessed them to try and squeeze in 7 and qualifiers??!!
I left at 9pm and they still had to jump the last class! CRAZY!!!

l have been to many winter bsja competitions and have not left the centre until nearly midnight!!!

This is why I am loathe to join the BSJA.

Who has the time to fritter away their day doing sod all? waiting 7 hours to do a 1 minute jumping round just to tap the last fence! No way!

Lol, we are lucky, the non stupid smaller classes (BN and Disco etc) all start early at our locals, so we get there for 9, gone by lunch

Totally agree, I decided BSJA was not for me after jumping at 8.30pm one Sunday evening after being advised the class would start around 4pm

They are very laid back and dawdle through the classes. We had to wait ages while a member of a very well-known dynasty warmed up two very late declarations........... I think you have to just grin and bear it.
