G has been going fantastically well all week, came to my lesson tonight and he was a crazy loon. Kept sticking his head in the air and running like a demented giraffe.

RI commented on how out of character he was, his eyes were on stalks and he kept pooing everywhere.

Do you think it could be the sudden change in temperature? DOn't know whats happened but it needs to unhappen as have booked him for our first dressage test on Sunday.

Oh dear think the weather is affecting them at the moment! Mine has tuned into a dobbin . Must be wierd for them mild, then wet and windy then cold again and the grass is coming through .
Good luck on Sunday hope he settles down for you :).

Mine also is a nightmare in the winter....since nov and hasnt settled since except for when i ride on my own late at night after work. It seems in the winter other horses anywhere but in their own stable sends her mad!!
Roll on spring

Mine is a muppet - usually she is a total legend. She has recently been reclipped, that along with a chilly snap has made her a bit loopy! Sure she will settle again soon, until then madam will be in extra work to keep her back down!
