creaky pony

we have a little welsh type pony 15yo 11hh and he creaks like a old man,you knowwhen you neel down and your knees crack,well itsjust like that untill he gets going, we cannot pinpoint were the creaks are coming from,has anyone come across this ? can we give him anything,wd40 is not an option
 
well 15 is only just middle aged depending on the mileage of course. However, if he's not the type to heat you could try a little codliver oil or veg oil in his feed. If he doesn't have feed, then mixed into a little bit of chop should help. Another good thing is glucosomine which really helps with repairing cartlidge and tendons, but I wouldn't try all at once as you might light him up like a lightbulb.
 
my old pony (45yrs old) used to creak quiet abit n i found a blob of cider vinegar added to his feed helped.

When friend bought her elderly gelding some years ago,
he creaked loads but she found that after feeding him linseed oil and Naf Superflex for a few months he hardly creaked at all.
