Sorry, no pics yet as I can't find the cable for my phone anywhere:mad:

But we had such a nice day with Nickijinglingbelle, her OH, the birthday girl Purdey and all the guys:)

Henry was a surprisingly good boy, he found it all very, very exciting and although he was very good while we were moving, he did serenade us all in the 'sitting still waiting to move on between drives' bits (sitting still not being his forte):o He did shut up in the afternoon, eventually!

He stayed on the lead all morning (my arm is killing me as all ideas of heelwork went out of the window:rolleyes:) then went off the lead for the last two drives:eek: He did go a bit too far away from me, but he attached himself to two more experienced dogs and was working well with them - and he did come back, so not bad for his first time, I think. He wasn't at all bothered by the noise of the shots and he didn't chase the birds (although he was very interested in the dead ones:rolleyes::D)

So I am pretty pleased with him, we can work on staying closer for next time but I think that was a good start:) He loved it, and was dead to the world all the way home! It was a really good day, really nice people, can't wait to go again:):):)

Am hoping the phone cable is at work, or I have no idea where it might be or how I will get any pics up:confused:

Good Boy Henry!! :D

Those photos better appear missy or we'll be forced to take action:

(have been waiting ages to use that smiley :o)

:DHenry was a star!!
He didn't put a foot wrong all day:D Purdey was a little monkey and ran off a couple of times however:p

It was a great day and it was lovely to meet Spudlet and little Henry. Purdey had the best birthday ever:D She was also completely wiped out all evening, in fact she has been pretty quiet today too:D

I shall come to the rescue with a couple of pics:D:D

Purdey and Henry not really intersted in the camera!

Yay! Well done you!!! And Henry of course! Off lead too ey spuddy! ;) Well I hate to say I told you so but.....well....I told you so! :D :D :D Yay!! I'm so happy to read this, bet you are on cloud nine! Flora has only just learnt to shut her trap between drives and while on stop, she did her third shoot on friday.

Yay, pics!:D

It comes to something when you have to pin your dog between your knees to get him to hold still for a photo:rolleyes:

Yeah, but I have got a hole in my jacket to mend after a barbed wire fence tried to eat me:D

It was great:D And Vizzy, shut urrrrrrrrrrrrp :p:p:p:D:D:D

We do look remarkably clean there! Actually there isn't too much mud - mainly pasture and woodland although Purdey usually manages to find the muck:D
It was the barbed wire that was the problem though, not the mud:D

Me and Purdey are looking forward to seeing Henry again soon:p

Aw Spudlet so glad you had fun, and henry sounds like he did a fab job! :)

Slinky and I were wondering how you were getting on on Sat - they'll be no stopping you now!

YAY!!!!!!

Huge well done to you both!!!! :D:D:D:D What a star he is! High 5 for the rescue spangle turned working spangle massive!!!:D

I can't see the pics at work for some reason but will have a look when i get home :D

I have loads of pics of my camera from last few shoots but can't fina my camera anywhere :eek: OH is going to kill me if i've lost it! It's only a couple of months old and considering i put the last one in the washing machine..... oops

Yay for Henry! You should send piccies to some of the rescue organisations....he's is a FAB advertisement for a rescue!

Scranny, I am so proud of him:) And amage, I am going to email the rescue centre for sure, they probably won't be able to use anything as some people will not like him working:rolleyes: and after all that's not an argument the rescue will find helpful to get embroiled in as it will distract their focus, but their behaviourist was the first person to tell us we should give it a try:D

Oooh more pics - well done Spudlet! I love the second one, Henry was sitting nicely until Fred went past holding a pheasant then suddenly his attention was diverted!
Hope Henry has fully recharged his spangle batteries - Purdey took til Monday before she was fully charged again:D

Sadly Henry was ready for trouble again by Sunday... I think he may have been moving a little more slowly than normal, but sadly this just gave him more time to cause more trouble in a concentrated area:rolleyes::eek::D

I can't believe that:p Henry was such a little saint on Saturday - he has a wonderful temperment, he clearly loves people and other dogs - definitely a good working dog in the making:D
