Cremation mana conned horse owners

This is the headline of an article in Bristol Evening Post on 15th Feb - can't find a link. Basically local slaughterer charged people £920 to have horses cremated and ashes returned. What he did was sent body to Exeter to be "rendered" (not sure of technicalities) and returned any old ashes in an urn. He was fined and awarded costs of almost £29k. Only investigated after someone thought that the ashes returned were far to light weight for her horse.
Pure profittering on people's emotions - disgusting.

I read this too. Bushey were using him to cremate their clients horses. He was from Bath the guy.

He was/is very well know. Friend had a horse PTS at Bushey a year ago and they had just changed who they used - I wonder why?

Glad I didn't ask for Koko's ashes back then, I would have hated just to have any random persons or horses ashes!
