Cremation services Cornwall?

It's a sad one, but my poor beloved draft horse is looking like he may be going to leave me before long and I've always wanted to get him cremated, I live in South west Cornwall, penwith area, and have had a Google but it's not clear if anyone provides this service to my location. I'd obviously be wanting individual cremation with his ashes returned... any recommendations would be great

I'm sorry you are having to look into this, I lost my mare last year and contacted Dignity in Hampshire, they collected her then had to take her to Gloucestershire as they only use APPCC (Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria) crematoriums.

I realize neither are local to you but I wondered if either Dignity maybe able to help point you in the right direction or having had a quick look on the APPCC website they do have a list of members so you maybe able to find someone local to you.

I'm sorry - the vets were really helpful when I knew my old boy's time was up. Especially as I couldn't hold it together on the phone to their receptionist - but I said I wanted him cremated and his ashes back and they told me who they use and organised him to turn up an hour after the vet.
