Hi all, i went to the stallion parade at Arena UK on the 14th of March to see the cremello stallion Perlino Kinsky- Unfortunately he wasn't there.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is any other cremello stallions standing in the the east of england area. If so contact details and web addresses would be great, many thanks!

I saw Brackenspa's Crown's Wonder Pearl at The ECHA grading last Autumn and was really impressed.
If you can make the open day I think it would be well worth your while. I am sure all of his details are on the website that Kerilli has given you the link to.

Hope that helps.

I gather Brackenspa's Crown's Wonder Pearl first foal was born today a filly. I am looking forward to seeing it at the open day. Anyone going?

It is great to see from the posts above that our young stallion-Crown's Wonder Pearl- has created a little interest. Indeed the Brackenspa Stud Open Day is on this Saturday and we will be happy to see you.

We are very excited to have his first foal on the ground - a strapping palamino filly born at Brackenspa last night.

Please PM me if anyone would like any further details.

Oh brilliant!

I will PM you, I am really excited to see how he has developed since last Autumn - I have been following his pogress on your website this winter - loved the picture of him over the brush at Oasby!

Look forward to seeing him on Saturday.

Thank you to jrp204 for that link - was so sorry not to see Perlion Kinsky at Arena.

Thank you also to Kerilli - I will make the effort to go over to Brackenspa this Saturday to see Crown's Wonder Pearl.

Seen this one in the flesh - interesting grading marks on his stud card - alot must have happened to him since his grading. He has interested pair of hocks and one front foot is more upright and boxy than the other. When you stand behind him if I remember correctly his off fore heal is much higher off the ground than his near fore.

For me good limb and conformation must come first and colour second - however much you want a palomino or dun!

Dont wish to offend anyone - maybe if his connections are on hear, they can fill in the missing details on what has happend to this stallion in the last couple of years.

Re TheFuture in response to the above post I can confirm that Crown's Wonder Pearl scored an average of 8 at his grading and as a 4yr old now he has been competing at unaffiliated dressage and schooling over intro BE courses.

Pleased can you confirm which stallion you are refering to? Many Thanks.

I am a bit mistified by this post as its position appears to refer to Perlino Kinsky but from my observations of him none of this critique actaully applies. He is very correct, has no hock or hoof problems (however interesting) and is a pretty impressive sound specimen :-). As to hwere he has been for the past two years, well he has been at public stud at Ragby Hall (which I would have thought was quite well known) and he is about to go down to stand in Cornwall for the latter part of the season. His interesting (what a starnge word to use, are you implying that they are not correct?) are from his grading with the sports horse section of the Danish Palomino studbook (overstamped in Sweden) and as such almost certainly awarded to DV wb standards by DV judges (but not of course at Herning). There is certainly nothing spurious or excessively interesting about that esxcept that most are 8s and above!

I am not sure whether he is available by frozen semen (ask Paul Wyatt at Ranby Hall as he will certainly tell you) but I do know that there are pland to bring him back into work under saddle and probably compete PN with him by the end of the year so there are no problesm or 'interesting' suppositions to be made about him on that score I am sure you will be delighted to know.

And BTW, the reason he could not make it to the Arena UK parade was becuase Paul was up all night the previous night foaling, including a super
palomino filly by Perlino himself :-) as covering was the main thing he was doing in 2008 <ROFL>

Oh yes and also of course although he is registered in the name of Perlino Kinsky he is of course a cremello not a perlino just to confuse things even more.

I used McJonnas last year eagerly awaiting a baby in July, so excited, a bit late I know but it was a last minute decision.

McJonnas

It was his foals that did it for me mcjonnas babies

He's not in East of England but not too far away standing at Kington Langley Stud (Wiltshire) in training with their rider Jo Storrie. They don't take mares at stud but have Winsley and West Kington on the doorstep for Ai'ing the mares or they psot semen out.

I looked at Perlino Kinsky too but didn't like the idea that he is so closely in bred, paternal brother on sister, I know they do this kind of thing with some breeds but it kinda put me off.
