As per title! They're going to concentrate on saddles only so in future, no clothes or rugs and stuff like that. Have just been and there's still a lot of bits, bridlework (some Sabre, half price) , girths, some rugs (Rambo Duo down to £105!) but not many sizes. Still worth a look if you're in the area. I've come out with a bucket of goodies plus a new hat, all for £130, so I'm smiling!

Does that mean their only concentrating on saddles in future sales or in general? Are they still going to sell rugs and ridingwear?

I was told by the staff they'll not have any clothes or rugs at all in future, concentrating on saddles and bridlework only.
Haven't been there for years and didn't know about the sale at all until yesterday so I'm glad I made it; been absolutely bedlam this last fortnight so she said and the empty shelves proved it!

They're not the cheapest for clothes, rugs etc and I would imagine Alsager saddlery takes quite a bit of that business away from them.

Just my luck they have a clear out sale now when I'm up the duff and not riding - hmmpphhh!

I went on the first day of the sale. I wondered why they were in such a state and they didn't seem to have much variety and non-sale stuff. I got a sabre bridle for £50

but the rugs were still pretty dear and like you say all tiny and massive sizes.

I liked Crewe Saddlery for jodphurs and stuff although it is a bit of a treck for me. Thats really weird that they're not going to do clothes or anything.

I was told (not by the staff!) that it was almost thrown at the staff, they didn't know anything about the sale or change of direction at all three weeks ago!

I agree about Alsager and Beeston being better for bargains though but CS had better quality usually.
