had a really good saddle fitting for my mare today, have ordered a new dressage and xc/jump saddle for her, both Ideal as they felt the best by far for both of us. the Susannah felt as if it had been made for me, it fitted exactly, it is an absolutely lovely saddle, and the Impala was fantastic too. so, very chuffed about that.
then had a double blow-out in the lorry on the way home, first one i've ever had. nightmare. luckily the mare was really good about standing on the lorry for another 2 hours... had to offer her a drink in a saucepan though as hadn't bothered to take any buckets as it was so close! oops. also hadn't bothered to take any food or drink, so nearly fainting with hunger and dehydration by the time i got home.

so, hope your afternoon's going better than mine!

A blow out in a lorry must be a nightmare! Not to mention a double blow out! At least you got home in the end and the saddle fitting went well - all this talk of new saddles is making me want one.....

Good job you had some water with you, too!

Sorry to hear about your blow out though, its such a nightmare when things like that happen isn't it??

the Susannah really is something else... i couldn't believe how good it made me feel. tried the Roella straight after, and a couple of Passiers, and they felt nothing like it. will have to wait about a month, but i know i've just got to be patient because it will be so worth it.
yes, very expensive day.

I have been very impressed by the new Ideal saddles i worked with one of my clients and the saddler the other day and we ended up with a dressage and a jumping saddle by ideal.
I have always though these saddles to be exellent value and good quality i would have one anytime over the likes of Albion .
Know you have not have success with them but i still love my WOWs above all else but it is horses for coarses!!
Glad you got home safe!
