Well took Hattie up there to do the British Novice and for somewhere different to jump. The end of the practise arena was a total boating lake which was fantastic as it meant that i could give Hattie plenty of water practise ready for next season!

Anyway, she popped round the clear round and the first round British Novice very sweetly (apart from having to change from roundings on the 2ring gag to one rein) because she was getting rather strong and those poles are so flimsy you only have to breath on them and they fall down so getting long and quick really wasnt an option!

After slight confusion over the J/O course Hattie jumped really nicely and lolloped round all the quick turns as she does! and somehow we WON

Yay ! Well done....

I was wondering how many people would brave the outdoor warm-up there today...as I was hacking round the woods in the pooring rain. You'll be fine in Disco...and at least you got your 4 DC's before jumping out of class

The weather forecast today......mainly dry......YEAH RIGHT

their warm up arena was just sooooooooo waterlogged!!! i was amazed - we couldnt believe our luck when we turn down the drive and saw half the arena submerged under 6inches of water!!!!! It was perfect water training for her

and by the end she was canter through the middle of this lake to and from the practise fences

we were there! saw you jump off when we arrived and the much maligned Harvey that no-one wants to buy was 2nd in the Disc! All the others jumped clear in it to and also the class after so good day even if a bit wet and sloppy in the warm up to say the least!! I was in fairly large conspicuous oakley supremacy did i talk to you when i arrived?

we really hope so!!!! we just have our fingers xd that she's decided XC is something to be enjoyed and not just endured! then she'll be really good hopefully! but we'll see anything can happen with horses!!!!
