Cross country clothing

Is there a good place to get nice X country rider clothing. I always wonder and the only place I've ever seen that does your own colours is Nags Rags and I'm not that keen on their designs.

miranda theobald came recommended on here. I believe they made Zara Philips gear.

jellybeanz, treehouse, darkhorseuk, emma massingale. all do custom stuff.

I got my plain white polo shirt in a golf shop and team it up with either my plain black charles owen silk or my green & red silk, depending on how flash I feel. boring & understated!If I treat myself, it would most likely be the emma massingale one.

I use treehouse online. I find them very helpfull. You can design your own cross country colours and they will make them up for you.

I had them make a red top, with verticle blue and red stripes coming to cheast hight. Totaly unique and only 40 quid.

i went to show and got quote for xc top and they wanted nearly £80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i fell over.......... went to badders shopping and found perfect polo top for £10 (95% cotton)......... also if look in siggy........ found 'pairs' top in cheapy shop for £3 per top(95% cotton)..........
IMO no need to spent lots of dosh as it's only arm colour you can really see.......... I would spend more money on hat silk to stand out.......... well that's what i did........

And its a fair point but I haven't been able to find a nice black rugby shirt or polo shirt. I'm only riding in black and white so you think it would be easy X

go digging round the cheapy shops............... you never know what you'll find

i just was shocked again anything that someone can stick horse label on it, they want to charge double!!!!

I had mine done by Miranda Theobald. Although expensive, they are super lovely and good quality.
Def worth the money IMO.

I spent years trying to find a green top to match my hat silk, but in the end saved up and bought a custom matching top from treehouse, and I love it

I have splashed out on a shirt/hatcover/saddle cloth combo from Equester.co.uk ...they look so smart! Love the fact you can choose any design and colour...much better than my boring old quartered fleece! Much better value than other customised XC gear too.

saw some fab shirts the other day at Shelford BE, www.equester.co.uk

there looked to be the technical type, about £39.99 from memory and made to order if you have specific colours.

I also love Treehouse, still angling over the stockshirt/xc shirt, but quite costly! My hat silk is from there though and they are super efficient.

If your colours are just black and white then I would be tempted to look at long sleeved running tops

Or you could go for compression wear such as Skins...which claim to reduce fatigue.

She then has her black hat silk with stars on. She usually looks smart.

I made mine! Just brought a hat silk, then stuck yellow stars on my navy BP, and wear a white long sleeved stock shirt under my BP and i think it looks fab no need to spend loads!
