...once it's all done, i'll fill y'all in on the nightmare that's been the last few days...

...i last rang the solicitor (no answer) 4 minutes ago... when can i ring again? what if he's got caller ID and knows it's me that keeps ringing?....

Keep ringing. The gits will say something like, 'Oh yes, Ms Clipcloppop, we've had the contract since 11.00am - we did try to ring but it was engaged!'

[/ QUOTE ]

perhaps i should ring off my moby? but that means standing outside, on one leg, with left hand in the air, and a coathanger in my mouth (very slight exaggeration) and then i might miss the house phone...

right... gulp... going to ring again... (parp)

Everything crossed!!! (Except boobs - no chance!)

It was even nerve-wracking when I bought a place from my brother... I'm sure the solicitor will call soon to say it is all fine!

(except boobs as they're too small to even think about crossing

oh bugger....I hope it all goes to plan asap cos you need somewhere for that new little bundle of joy you're gonna get very soon. I assume Raff is the ned???

[/ QUOTE ]

yup, raff is the ned... we're moving from a beautiful house, which we renovated ourselves... to a (still beautiful) much smaller cottage... in order to have land to have the horse at home...

i love our current house. and i want whoever buys it to be chomping at the bit, and biting our hand off to get in here... not someone who faffs around looking for fault. whoever lives here is extremely lucky. it's an amazing house.

our house was on the market for less than a week. we had two viewings, and two offers. i took the first offer as i'm far too moral. and i thought it was immoral to start a bidding war.

i guess i sort of feel i deserve similar treatment in return. not to be arsed about. i owe it to my house to sell it to someone who is going to wake up every morning and feel blessed to be somewhere so beautiful.

gah, now i'm in floods of tears... must be my hormones... howl

Oh no! Poor you, but don't give up just yet, it sounds like a good move to me and it would be so much easier having the ned at home I'm sure.

A slightly softer version of ChicoMio - give them until tomorrow then threaten to get immoral...
