I usually hack Blue in a cross-under bitless bridle. I don't have a browband on it, because the one it came with is far too tight.
However I've noticed the bridle tends to move quite a lot if I have more pressure on one rein than the other. It's REALLY noticeable if I'm trying to haul her head out of the nearest hedge or patch of grass, but happens even when I'm just turning.
Is this likely due to the lack of browband? Just one of those things with cross-under bridles? Or should I look for a different style of bitless that can cope better with a hedge-diver?
