Thanks Bananaman... it is so nice to see your hard work paying off. I have worked really hard with Grace and been committed to getting her to her full potential. On Friday night when I was running through the test I was a very down on her because she just kept changing legs in canter (she has not learned flying changes yet btw

) and thought we should not even be thinking of competing just yet. But then when I was actually in there riding the test, it was lovely just concentrating on her and her responding perfectly to what I was asking of her.

We have a long way to go, but it's a fantastic result on her second outing!
 
Thanks _claire_, I am umming and ahhing about whether to just get on with it and affiliate after this weekend. If she had been low 60% or more, then i had made the decision not to affiliate until the end of summer, but if she was above 65% to seriously think about it (as long as the judging was fair, which I thought it was because there were lots of 50%s in the class).
 
If you are earning those scores at unaffiliated then I would just go for it and affiliate. There are some complete numpties who are affiliated so you definatly wont look out of place (not saying that you are a numpty
