A new crowd funding page has been set up to pay for the rearing of a foal found bedside it's dead mother on Exmoor. It is stated that this foal is part of a breeding programme, and was removed from the moor, seemingly with the consent of it's breeders, to another location, but not on the breeder's farm. Surely it is morally wrong to expect the general public to pay for the rearing of this foal? I am aware that no-one is forced to make a donation, but if this foal is, as was stated, part of a 'breeding programme', surely it is the reponsibility of the breeder to pay for the rearing of this foal, and not to beg the general public for money. If you plan a breeding programme the resultant foals are your responsibility and no-one elses?
