hi
can anyone tell me what the x country course is like i have entered the pn there on 14th july was hoping to do intro at shipton moyne but got balloted and horse is now lame with bruised foot so not had much chance to prepare (hoping he'll be sound at weekend) but as we haven't done any comp for 2yrs due to horse injury then i was pregnant am hoping it will be quite straight forward course??
thanks

I rang Crown Farm to find out about the course as I also missed my intro run, due to weather, apparently the course is lovely, there is a corner fence in the PN but there is an alternative. Lucky you getting in, I'm on the wait list with my fingers crossed!

Well, no one knows for sure as it is their first BE event up there! However I know the place well and their fences usually ride really well, the ground is usually super and I am sure you will have lots of fun!

Did the practise ODE there last year in preprtion for this!
It was lovely a super course got a few pics if you want but no idea whether they will be in it or not

The courses over the years at Crown Farm have always been a delight to ride. Occasionally challenging but always ride well.
The ground usually has a good covering of grass, the wooded area sometimes can get quite wet, the first lot of fields when hunter trials have run are over stubble plus can be quite stony and occasionally hard. so just watch it if you have a horse who is a bit shallow hoofed.
Im in the PN, really excited, they always have a good variety of fences so it should be a lot of fun.
