Anyone had any experiences?

Further to my previous 'First ODE' thread, I'm looking to book in my second, slightly bigger ODE!

Is the 80 fairly nice? I don't particularly want to scare the life out of me or the horse if we do enter :)

Also, does anyone know if the dressage and sj is on grass or in an arena? I have never been there before so unsure.

Thanks!

Such a lovely course was my horses first ode. Show jumping can be a bit greasy so I would recommend studs, though both times I have been,90 and 80 and both times unaff, been fantastically run, and both courses excellent and inviting. I found that they are yhe type of courses that want you to get round! Good luck and let us know :-)

Fab event. Nothing tricky or trappy but it is hilly (head up a hill, few jumps on the flat and then jumps downhill).
