Hi, just wondering if anyone know of a list of cruelty free dog foods?? All in know is iams i deff cruelly tested, but not 100% sure about others.

Just checked out your suggested website and of two of the companies listed, Arden Grange have the full backing of our vet (who sells their stuff) and Burns is recomended by our Munsterlander puppy's breeder. Haven't seen Burns sold locally so think I'll go for the Arden Grange grub! My daughter warned me about Iams a year or so ago.

I used to feed Burns when I was in the UK. My dogs loved it but I used to have to order it online - not sure that they stock it in stores over there. They're very quick at delivering though.

Check back to the first post from welshies to confirm what I said. Daughter out tonight so I can't ask her any more, but I remember her a year or two back telling me about Iams being tested on animals (and I don't mean as in feeding it to them!). Check with welshies who obviously knows something,

Hi, yes 'keeperscottage; and 'Tia' burns is excellent food, it was recommended to us years ago as our friend knows the vet who developed it but unfortunatley our fussy little bugger wont touch it! I think it's one of those they either love it or hate it. That deff isn't cruely tested and is 100% natural. I would also be very surprised if no one near you stocked it, i just did a search on there web site on the stockist page and there are 6 with in 5 miles of my post code! I think it has grown in popularity over the last couple of years so many more stock it: burns stockists

'Chestnutcob' I don't really even want to think about Iams! But if you look on the link in 'claire1976' 's link and look at the 'iams' page in the topics column you will see why. My friend runs a boarding kennels and was sent a leaflet about 10 years ago with graffic scenes of what they do to those poor animals! It really makes me sick to thinka bout it. Apparently Hills is pretty much the same, great isn't it when vets recommend it!!!!!
