Crufts on tv?

The Beeb stopped covering it when there was the blow up after the program about genetic problems of pedigree dogs, pedigree chum stopped sponsorship at the same time. .
 
Is it just me or is the coverage a bit crap this year? That new male presenter is doing my head in, he sounds as if he's taking the michael about everything he speaks about. :rolleyes:

Was greatly amused by the interview on Thursday with the winning husky, though - I love how she let it climb on the bloke without batting an eyelid. It's a distant relative of Dax-wax, doesn't bode well! :p

I'm seriously disappointed with the coverage. The show is one hour long, and a good half of that is taken up with interviews in which could be half the length. I honestly got bored and as it was recorded, I just ffwd thru it. I'm not that easily bored with information about dogs! And the agility/flyball and group judging was far too short! I wasn't that bothered to see the trade show as much as they covered it (but I've been there working the trade floor so maybe that's why).

And the male presenter is really annoying. The vet's okay, but the hand gestures were kind of doing my head in.
 
I've not been able to watch apart from Thursday as have come to visit the folks and they don't have digital, but that guy was really annoying... and why have they forced the vet to wear scrubs? Vets do have other clothes!

I couldn't agree more, it has been soooooo boring! And they repeat things every day as well, yawn.
Hope they show some of the gundogs tonight.
