With under 1 month until Crufts thought it would be good to see who is going. Those who are competing in various disciplines and those who are going for a visit.
I will be there with Tiva and Meera both showing on Friday (flatcoated retievers) and on the FCR discover dogs stand on Saturday morning. Come and say hello

Two of Crufts' major sponsors have asked their staff not to attend the dog show amid fears over coronavirus.
Royal Canin UK and James Wellbeloved said their representatives should stay away from large events like Crufts "unless it is business critical".
The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) has also decided not to go.’

yeah, but they’re happy to sell crap food for millions of dogs to eat??

Honestly I am amazed that anyone is attending, dogs have been shown to have the corona 19 virus in a weak form in two cases in China, neither dog has shown any symptoms. Let alone the humans that can be spreading it from far and wide.
My mum was supposed to be visiting a gallery in London next week and won't be going, tourist hotshots are surely the biggest risk to us all.
I have to go home to Scotland tomorrow night, across London, I shall walk and not take the tube but I still have to sit on the train.

Just watching the agility - loved how kind Galway Links owner was- giving the dog lots of love for a good round (And before they started too). Upsets me when Owner barely acknowledge a dog that has tried really hard, so this was lovely to see!

I'm useless at linking videos but did anyone see the wee dog in the dancing doing the beauty and the beast routine?? ? So cute

I remember watching a video of a super-fast agility round where the handler immediately celebrated by hugging and high-fiving with her coach and someone else gave the dog a tug reward. Couldn't really get my head around that.

In all fairness, this happens because in normal agility the tug or food reward is left just outside the ring and the handlers and dogs usually go straight to it (idea is to encourage dog to go through finish at speed). At Crufts there is not the space to do this so usually a friend or steward will be holding the tug ready to reward, so not really as it seems. In normal competition there are very few handlers who don't make a big fuss of their dogs when they finish .

And they get a pasting on social media if they're seen not to. :p

Watching the live feed now, no clear rounds in the small singles agility, very surprising.

Another freebie spot for anyone attending with a dog, the Jeep stand have the photo booth again where you can have your dog's picture taken and printed on a tote bag.

Well done @satinbaze - saw one of yours got best graduate dog in the flatties. The BOB was super and imo she should have gone through to the gundog final but I'm biased.

The graduate dog winner was bred by me so super proud. The rest of the Satinbaze team did well with both young bitches bring short listed in under graduate them Tiva their mother getting VHC (5th) in good citizen bitch. Happy days

Well done SB, I only watched the end as I turned it on earler to see yet another bulldog promotion section (albeit they did stress how many were in rescue and how much vets bills cost) so had to turn it off. Also, why do they assume that people watching are 5 years old and have been at the blue smarties?
So I did turn on to watch the BIG judging, I loved the English setter but they were all lovely. I turned it on slightly too late to see the lab - go on, how fat was it!?

Fairly porky ,but slightly more on the leg than some I have seen win

I usually support the terrier regardless but *whispers* I don't like Kerry Blues, so probably the dachshund
