He is my mares grandsire and the one pic I have found of him they are he is posing perfectly like Saffi its scary

Cruise Missile was the best looking stallion I've ever seen. If he was a gelding he'd have won the Hunters at HOYS !
I used him twice on my Xenocles mare.
My mare in my signature Primitive Passion is his grand daughter, my stallion Scallys Missile is his grandson and my gelding Primitive Missile is his grandson.
All 3 of them have massive bone and are between 17hh and 17.3hh.

He was cleverly bred as John Thorn put his dam Polaris Missile a huge boned old fashioned National Hunt mare to a good looking US sire Bend a Bow.
Polaris Missile was also dam of Spartan Missile who came 2nd to Aldaniti in the Grand National.

Hello,
I had a Cruise Missile mare, a truly wonderful big upstanding mare then went on to be a great brood mare and produced some cracking foals, he was one of the best I have to say, well missed.

The ones online are what I posted, I took the pic of him standing at Vowchurch Stud about 24years ago and the others are his stud cards, one when he first went to stud and was still racing fit and the other when he had been at stud a year and had a topline.
There should be some of him racing somewhere, he won 9 times as I recall. Maybe get intouch with the Racing Post and ask about their archives x

We have a Cruise Missile (gelding, unfortunately). He was bred for my daughter when she was around 10 years old to be her 'teenage' horse and we still have him.
I could gaze and gaze at pics of Cruise Missile - our boy isn't bad either!
He can be opinionated but when he is good, he is very,very good..
