Cry for HELP! for Kent/ London Riding Schools

You could try Fiona Scott shes a registered instructor with horses you can ride. Her details are on the british horse society website. Shes not expensive and she is safe!:)

Hi

I have had lessons (and kept a horse at Mascals), I like Mascals and have had some lessons with great instructors but like many have said I would steer well clear at the weekends - is chaos on occasions. I used to go up during the week and have a lesson at 8pm and that was great. Fab hacking mind.

Chelsfield is a great little yard, had a course of 10 lessons there a couple of years back and really enjoyed it. The yard, horses, school, instructors were all top notch. Thought it was a great place for lessons. I hacked out once and although pleasent we had to do a fair bit of road work.

Willow tree isnt great from what i've heard.

Is this yard too far? http://www.mayfieldhorses.co.uk/. Have to say it's one of the nicest riding schools i've been to. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. Really care about their customers and their horses, i was super impressed when i visted in the summer. The instructor i had was great and have heard that they all are.

Am loaning now so no longer have lessons at a riding school myself but have been riding in the SE/Kent area for 20 or so years so if you have any questions then feel free to ask.

Re: frustrated and Jodiepony,
First of all, thank you for your replys.
I have been to Chelsfield this afternoon and seem good, so I am going to have a lesson next week, will see how would it goes.
Also went go Eaglefields afterward, it seems to be a better place than Chelsfield, but driving there is quite difficult to me.
Will updated my state after the trial.
Smile
