Just seen this horse advertised for sale. Bit dissapointed as had been looking forward to Lucinda showing everyone how to do a 4* again! but someone is going to be very lucky to inherit such a horse. Here's hoping an experienced rider gets the ride and fulfills horses potential!

Was well impressed at Blair that Lucinda completed her 3* having arrived in her jeep and ifor williams. Just gives us mere mortals encouragement that you don't need a top of the range lorry to make it happen! Would also like to know how they packed everything in as both her and her daughter were competing!

If you remember, she took the gray mare that Chris King took over to 3* level, before giving the ride over for 4*.. tis a shame, as she's still 'got it' more than some people at that level!!
I watched her at Blair, and it was a joy!

What a shame.

Wonder why that is as I thought this was a horse she was competing on as a hobbie. I arranged a clinic with her a few weeks ago, and although I only managed one lesson and in pain! (Broke my collar bone at start of lesson!) it was excellent and she will def be coming back in 08 which I cat wait for!

My 4yr old threw me off! Really not her normal behaviou at all! Someone fell off in front of me and she panicked and bronced then reared then bucked again! Managed to get back on and finish lesson though! Albeit in alot of pain! Just didnt get to jump second horse

I noticed though at both Barbury and Gatcombe the scoreboard said she had been disqualified before/in/after the dressage though, does anyone know what happened...was disappointed as I really wanted to see her go across country. And not only do I think she's awesome, I'm also named after her (was born in the 80s when she kept winning everything!).

His vaccinations werent up to date!!

At gatcombe she was eliminated in the showjumping for jumping the wrong fence... just shows it can happen to anyone.

Slightly surprised to see him for sale. She has always said that she wouldn't go 4* again, hence why Chris got the grey, so I presumed he would simply go to another young rider or something. Certain riders have been grumbling that as head selector unless she can beat them all she shouldn't be competing against those she later selects. Hope it wasn't anything to do with this

May be Lucinda is of the mind set that her daughter needs to gain experience by producing her own horses up to that level rather than being handed everything on a plate or perhaps Lissa has tried the horse and they dont get on?

My personal opinion is that Lucinda is the best jump jockey eventing has had. The fact that she has won Badminton 6 times a feat not equalled by anybody else makes her a class apart and these riders really should be grateful she is still out there showing them how to do it! Her cross country round a Blair was just class.

I do seem to remember that Lissa had a major confidence crisis after a fall a while ago, Luncinda 's foresigt is such that she probably knows that the horse isn't the one to take Lisa forward. And then just maybe, Lucinda needs the cash, as we all do from time to time!

Really? How miserable of them..... Thing is the fans love to watch her and I'm sure some of those moaning could learn a thing or two from her instead of bitching....
